Heads-up!

Sorry this took so long! Here are a few songs that might not be familiar to you for the May 31 Mass.

Opening: David Haas - Send Us Your Spirit
Communion song 2: Hillsong United - Hosanna

"Send Us Your Spirit" is definitely going to be more upbeat than the recording.

March 29 Songs

Entrance: "Christ, Be Our Light" by Bernadette Farrell
Offertory: "Only This I Want" by Dan Schutte
Communion: "Behold the Lamb" by Martin Willet

Communion: "Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone)" arranged by Chris Tomlin
1. Amazing grace
How sweet the sound
That saved a wretch like me
I once was lost, but now I'm found
Was blind, but now I see

2. ’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear
And grace my fears relieved
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed

Ch. My chains are gone
I've been set free
My God, my Savior has ransomed me
And like a flood His mercy reigns
Unending love, Amazing grace

3. The Lord has promised good to me
His word my hope secures
He will my shield and portion be
As long as life endures

4. The earth shall soon dissolve like snow
The sun forbear to shine
But God, Who called me here below
Will be forever mine
Will be forever mine
You are forever mine

Recessional: "How Great Is Our God" by Chris Tomlin
1. The splendor of the King, clothed in majesty
Let all the earth rejoice
All the earth rejoice
He wraps himself in Light, and darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice

Ch. How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God

2. Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
Beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One
Father, Spirit, and Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb

Br. Name above all names
Worthy of all praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God

New Music from November 30

Here are some of the songs we played at 11:00 AM Mass

"Come to the Water" by John Foley, SJ
1. O let all who thirst,
let them come to the water.
And let all who have nothing,
let them come to the Lord:
without money, without price.
Why should you pay the price,
except for the Lord?

2. And let all who seek,
let them come to the water.
And let all who have nothing,
let them come to the Lord:
without money, without strife.
Why should you spend your life,
except for the Lord?

3. And let all who toil,
let them come to the water.
And let all who are weary,
let them come to the Lord:
all who labor, without rest.
How can your soul find rest,
except for the Lord?

4. And let all the poor,
let them come to the water,
Bring the ones who are laden,
bring them all to the Lord:
bring the children without might.
Easy the load and light:
come to the Lord.

"Jesus, My Everything" by Matt Maher

1. I've been looking for a reason...
I've been longing for a purpose..
I'm losing all my meaning...
I've run out of excuses.
Lord, it's hard to know you,
I don't always see your plan.
But holiness is calling me so take me as I am.

Ch. You are my everything, you are the song I sing;
I'll do anything for you.
Teach me how to pray, to live a life of grace;
I'll go anywhere with you.
Jesus, be my everything.

2. Lord, I get so tired of the struggle within.
I settle in complacency
and I'm weighed down in my sin.
So lead me past emotion,
'cause they change with the wind.
I want to be a true disciple
to daily choose your hand.

"Let the River Flow" by Darrell Evans
1. Let the poor man say
"I am rich in Him"
Let the lost man say
"I am found in Him"
Oh, Let the river flow

Let the blind man say
"I can see again"
Let the dead man say
"I am born again"
Oh, Let the river flow
Oh, Let the river flow

C. Let the river flow
Let the river flow
Holy Spirit come
Move in power
Let the river flow (Let the river flow)
Let the river flow (Let the river flow)
Let the river flow (Let the river flow)
Let the river flow
